  1. Here is the release of MicroBArtender version 2.3.

  3. Improvements over MicroBArtender 1.0
  4. - tape recorder like browsing controls, nicer than before
  5. - context search, select a search key and cross reference all other
  6.   cards with the same word
  7. - tools including measurements, substitutes and glossary information,
  8.   list of drinks, suggestions of drinks to make based on stocking
  9.   information, recipe printing
  10.  
  11. ...and yes, you can enter your own drinks or modify existing cards,
  12.    but I strongly discourage that - please send me your recipes so
  13.    I can have 1 official consolidated stack!  There are also import
  14.    facilities for updates.

  16. Revisions in MicroBArtender version 2.1 from 2.0
  17. - updated to HyperCard 2.0.

  19. Revisions from 2.1 to 2.2
  20. - spelling in Info. "Worchestershire" -> "Worcestershire"
  21. - search problem with "Creme Yvette" in Info., move the "Yvette"
  22.    to the same line as "Creme"
  23. - updated user manual etc. for system 7.0 user name
  24. - new registration form
  25. - fixed hidden problem with about/disclaimer, tips/measures
  26. - merged Tools sort and build (more cohesive)
  27. - fixed 'a'!=‘A' in build (so now it doesn't matter about drink
  28.    name's first letter)
  29. - added option key to change glass type when pressed
  30. - option key down on suggest search goes to suggest card
  31. - option key on selected drink from list deletes it
  32. - fix reset of index when MB locked
  33. - improved import (no delete necessary, executes build)

  36. - wrote new XFCN to allow for easy selection of "import" files

  39. - "MicroBArtender Pro", the commercial version
  40. - programmable stock types and measurements
  41. - tracks stock, with report generation and stock warnings
  42. - super fast "easy browser"
  43. - floating description window (instant online help on everything)
  44. - improved hypertext tools
  45. - drag glass and liquors icons, default instructions, and more...

  47. MicroBArtender knows over 800 drinks, but the release only
  48. comes with 101.  There is a $10US registration fee for the entire,
  49. growing recipe collection.

  51. If you have special recipes you'd like to see included in future
  52. releases of the MicroBArtender, please send them to me!
  53. (Beware, you agree to give me unconditional use of said recipes and
  54. they should not be copyrighted.)
